Místo konání: School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. The address is Vasagatan 1, Göteborg
Organised by: Work and Employment Research Centre at University of Gothenburg
More than 2.5 million people applied for asylum in Europe in 2015 and 2016 alone. A key aim of this international conference is for researchers, policy-makers and practitioners in the field of integration to come together in the search for good solutions for a set of pressing questions triggered by these important flows. How to maintain sustainable societies and welfare states? What are the best practices to integrate immigrants in the labour market? How can ethnic discrimination in the labor market be confronted in a climate of faltering willingness to receive immigrants?
To discuss these topics, the following speakers will provide keynote presentations during the 3 day event:
- Professor Christian Dustmann, University College London
- Chairman Lil Ljunggren Lönnberg, Delegation for the Employment of Young People and Newly Arrived Migrants
- Director Olof Åslund, Institute for Evaluation of Labour Market and Education Policy in Sweden (IFAU)
Registration is to be done online
by 10 Octobre 2017.
